What to Expect

We will celebrate the farming season with the refugee and immigrant farmers of Flats Mentor Farm, organizational partners, community members, and farming allies. The Gala is meant to acknowledge a successful farming season and thank all small-scale and local farmers for their role in food production and feeding our region. Get your tickets TODAY!

Raising Funds

While World Farmers Harvest Gala is a time to honor the farmers at Flats Mentor Farm, this special evening also serves as a much needed fundraiser to support the farming program. We invite you to celebrate with us and contribute to our only fundraiser, by purchasing a ticket, becoming a sponsor, or donating items and/or participating in the silent auction day-of (email jgill@worldfarmers.org if you’re interested in donating any items).

About the Farm

Flats Mentor Farm (FMF, or The Flats) is located on a 70-acre river bottom parcel of land in Lancaster, Massachusetts. Operated by World Farmers, FMF supports small farmers of diverse ethnic backgrounds with access to the land, farming infrastructure and marketing assistance needed to promote and sustain successful farming enterprises. Immigrant and refugee farmers have been farming at Flats Mentor Farm since 1985. To date, Flats Mentor Farm hosts over 250 farmers, providing access to land to grow cultural crops for themselves, their community, and their business.
